Dear Member,
As Board Secretary to Your FCU, I am pleased to announce the 2010 Board of Directors elections. I
encourage you to become a participant in this year's election.
Election details were posted on the website on January 9, 2010. There are four Board seats
open for election this year. The process requires adhering to the following procedures:
- January 12, 2010 - Chairman of the Board appoints Nominating Committee
- February 5, 2010 - Nominating Committee must receive a Letter of Intent and
a resume of qualifications from any member over the age of 18 years of age to be
considered for selection as a candidate no later than 2:00 p.m. CST, Friday,
February 5, 2010. The Letter of Intent and resume should be mailed to the following address:

Incumbent Candidates must provide a resume of their credit union
responsibilities and accomplishments during their previous term on the
Board to be considered for re-election.
- February 12, 2010 - Nominating Committee will evaluate all applications received and select the
best candidates based upon overall skills and qualifications. Chosen candidates will be notified
by phone, e-mail and publishing of nominees names on the web site. Applicants not selected will
receive written instructions for applying for election by petition*. The chosen candidates are available
here.
- March 15, 2010 - Any member who wishes to pursue election by petition must send a
Letter of Intent and resume of qualifications
to seek election BY PETITION to the Nominating Committee to be received no later than
2:00 p.m. CST, Friday, March 15, 2010.
- April 9, 2010 - Nominating Committee will notify candidates and post "Slate of Nominees"
at all credit union branch locations and on the YOURFederalCU.com web site. The Slate of Nominees can be found here.
- May 14, 2010 - Annual Business Meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at 8384 N. Belt Line Road, Irving, Texas, 75063.
Nominees selected and Petitioners approved by the
Nominating Committee must be present at the meeting and prepared to speak on
behalf of their desire to serve as a Board member of the credit union. The
vote of members will be held at the Annual Business Meeting with votes of the
members in attendance counting as the Official Vote. Members who have reached the
age of 18 years may vote at the Annual Business Meeting.

*Petition Candidates must provide to the Nominating Committee a petition with a
minimum 178 signatures of eligible, active members of the credit union. Eligible
members must be at least 18 years of age and have an open and active account with
Your FCU. The Petition Document must have members name printed along with address, city,
state and signature. Members will not be furnished a listing of credit union
members in order to solicit petitions.
